REMEMBER, IT'S JUST A CONVERSATION!

The shows on Wise Women Media Radio are in depth profiles and stories that show us that women of a certain age are dynamic forces, empowered spirits and tenacious voices for creating the change we need to see in the world. We cover everything the way our Mothers and Grandmothers would; Environment, Sustainable Living, Art of all genres, Food Storage, Gardening, Crafting, once in a while Political Issues with Special Guests. These women will inspire you! There is no other radio format like this!

We are in Florida so sometimes inclement weather will not permit us to do the show if we lose internet access or power.

Please post here if you have feedback, would like to be on the show, want us to focus on a topic or if you have ideas for future guests.

***We do not promote any specific political party or candidates for any office including presidential. We are more likely to interview female 3rd Party candidates who do not get a lot of airtime through other media outlets.

***The rule we honor is the Golden Rule: we treat others as they would like to be treated both on air and off.

1005PM: Rivera Sun -- Actor, Radio Host for Occupy Radio and Author of “THE DANDELION INSURRECTION” Just one of her among many works in several genres of artistic expression, an activist, powerful speaker and supporter all things that are pro-peace, pro-people and helps to Green the Planet! She will be speaking to us about her tour through Florida which will bring her into the Tampa Bay area this coming up week.

1030PM: Karen Morian -- Professor of Humanities & an Activist
She works on Economic Justice, Labor, Feminist Issues, Green, LGBT and allies with Progressive Groups in Jacksonville and from around Florida to fight for a better future. 
She represented Florida at the last Climate March in NYC several months ago. Tonight she will be speaking to us about her recent visit to Cuba.

1100PM: Dorothy Famiano -- Journalist & Photographer
Former founder and CEO of an award winning media company, Dorothy has a 20 year background in media and writing for public as well as private companies. After raising children she went back to work for the Tampa Tribune and Hernando Today. When Hernando Today closed, she saw a vacuum in real community news in her local area and created Hernando Phoenix.

1125PM: Jennifer Sullivan -- TV and Radio Producer and Activist with the Green Party Jennifer is a very busy activist on a number of different issues that affect all of us. Currently she sits on several committees for the national Green Party of the US. She is the creator, producer and host of THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE, a new radio show on local community radio station, WMNF-FM 88.5. And she broadcasts ON THE TABLE WITH THE GREEN PARTY, a TV show on local public television.

***As an aside, thanks for sticking with us and supporting WISE WOMEN MEDIA. We have passed our three year mark! After a month long sabbatical, we have stepped aside for a bit re-evaluate the goals of the show and to discover that the show needs a facelift, a new format and new branding. So new things are happening and will be created in the coming months. We have decided to do this show once a month instead of weekly on EVERY FOURTH FRIDAY. So mark your calendars!
